The Irish American Sports Camp Was a Great Success!

The annual Irish American Sports Camp was recently held in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. It was a fantastic week of activities, as boys and girls learned and played hurling, gaelic football, and BASEBALL! The camp was operated by Healthy Kidz CIC with support from Emerald Diamond International.

Irish Wolfhounds coach Vin Malzahn ran the baseball portion of the camp, with help from  Wolfhounds coach Eric Helmrich and players Mitch Hillert, Conor Santoiannni, and Tommy Dunleavy.

Healthy Kidz CIC is a nonprofit youth sports organization, based in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Healthy Kidz operates the school-based portion of Emerald Diamond's Irish Youth Baseball Program. Each year, Healthy Kidz and Emerald Diamond International introduce baseball to over 2,000 boys and girls.
